A handmade hammock was created as part of a project that integrates the culture of the Cuetzalan region in Puebla. The concept was the empowerment of women in the indigenous society of the region.

POMPONS
The materials to be used were canvas, due to its resistance. Bamboo for the bases because it is originally from Cuetzalan.
Pompoms and cotton thread were used representing the representative colors in the festival of 'La Reina del Cafe'.
The process consisted of sewing the threads to the canvas, attaching the cotton thread to the bamboo sticks, braiding the ends of the tension threads and making and placing the colored pompoms. This activity was to connect with the culture of the town, with which we later carried out architectural projects. This entire process was handmade.
